Ngoni was born prematurely and at one week old was already malnourished.  He came to the home when he was still very young and has done very well. He is a smart student and would like to become a doctor.  He has a beautiful singing voice and conducts the school choir. Ngoni can be shy at times.  His name means Sympathy or Compassion.

Sarudzai is one of the older children at Fairfield and tries to set a good example for the younger ones.  She came to Fairfield with her brother, Justice when they were young.  They both came from very difficult circumstances.  Sarudzai  likes to help the other children with their school work.  She has a beautiful singing voice, although she is very shy. Sarudzai would like to go to school to be a journalist.  Her name translates to “Decision” or “Choice”.

Sekai is a busy and active child.  She loves to play, but not so much her chores.  She is a very smart child, but likes playing more than studying.  Sekai plays volleyball and other sports and is a member of the choir and loves to dance.

Juliet came from the Chimanimani Mountain area when she was just 3 months old.  Despite early learning delays she is doing well in school.    Juliet is a quiet girl, but likes to have fun with the other children.  She likes to sing gospel music and is in the Fairfield Children’s Home choir. Her favorite subject in school is geography.
